Supported edu-therapy for children and young people who have experienced child sexual Abuse

At PB West, we offer supportive, trauma-informed, psycho-social edu-therapy embedded with  Protective Behaviours for children and young people who are at risk of, or who have experienced trauma and abuse, particularly sexual abuse. 

Using a professional caring, trauma informed, strengths based approach, we build trust  with children and families to engage and support their healing from the impact of abuse, 

There is an additional focus on teaching the themes and strategies of Protective Behaviours, and how to apply them in everyday life,  

This combination is effective in supporting developmental growth, self empowerment and safety.

this is an outreach program and our sessions take place within an environment where the children feel safest.

Each SEP session is developed to support, validate and facilitate healing and education by assisting children and young people to feel empowered and confident when accessing their rights to safety.

Feeling safe and supported to thrive is essential to healing from the impact of abuse.
